I never really watched it, but it was on Toonami so I saw enough of it during the primetime DBZ days in America, that I realized that it looked really well done. I think the quality of animation was a lot better than most anime.

DB Super, in contrast, had a lot of people complaining about frames that were rushed...I guess you could consider them frames that were rushed due to quicker motion during a fight or something, so its not bad. Some of the lines in DB Super looked bad tho...lighter and sometimes not as defined and ~CONFIDENT~, one could say.
