Depends on the company and the game. For a AAA title game like this, they'll typically give out physical discs to influencers along with some exclusive swag.

Instead of killing Joel, make it so that Ellie has to save him. Either hes kidnapped or sick or missing, something. Also dont include Abby as playable. Focus the story on Ellie and Dina, keeping the flashbacks that show Ellies relationship with Joel.

I havent seen the ending just yet, but about halfway through watching it. so far I think this would be an improvement though.

That's the plot of a Mario game.
