It's so painfully out of place with the rest of the movie. You can tell it was an ending forced by the studio, especially after seeing the original ending.

Also I love the random bets all the millionaires have. The hooker part was fantastic

I could see it being hard to end. With an ensemble cast like this, not everyone is gonna be rooting for the same characters so they couldn't just have someone win. They could've split the money evenly but after all the shit they all put themselves/each other through that probably wouldn't have played out too well either.
