In the Outer Rim of the Galaxy, a small planet of little significance has detected an incoming unidentified object. A group of Treasure Hunters decide to beat the scientists and militaries to the punch and check for anything of value. Upon arriving on their two ships, ahead their competetors, they discover that the object is an old abandonned freighter housing an extremely dangerous specimin that has killed several humanoids who appear to have been the crew. Their database identifies it as a Rathgar (I hope I spelled that right), a species thought extinct in the destruction of their homeworld more than 150 years prior. Now becoming the hunted, the treasure hunters have to destroy the ship along with the monsters and escape alive. They eventually discover that, having reproduced, there are thousands aboard the ship. And then do some dramatic stuff like they leave and then one of their ships turns out to be infested with the monsters too.
