Obama ran for office as a smokescreen so people didnt revolt sooner. The establishment wanted to use a black man as a front to instill confidence in people that the system is legitimately moving forward, and that we truly have a meritocracy, and all the good stuff we want.

The only way to allow him to be president and not really change much would be to fabricate a national narrative of division, and brainwash idiots into having dumb opinions via Fox News. This would give Obama the excuse that he was up against a callous GOP and couldnt get anything done.

This lays the groundwork for Trump to run for office and delay the inevitable exchange of power to the lower and middle classes.
