And that we didn't need masks but now we do?

Very hard to figure out why some don't take his opinions seriously...

This dude is just as dirty as any politician is. His sole focus is profit, even at the expense of human life, so pardon me for thinking he can fuck off when he tries to act like he gives a shit about people falling ill or dying. Some of the rhetoric hes pushed since this pandemic was anti-science. Nobody should trust this guy.

Yup, and there's definitely grounds for not trusting Fauci, when people like Judy Mikovits get totally censored and slandered all over the internet. If she was wrong, why go to all the trouble to arrest her and jail her without a warrant and charges?

To be totally honest, I have no idea if she was charged or not. There's almost zero information on that. Nothing completely credible.

But the amount of criticism that the video and her reputation are receiving should raise some eyebrows regardless. Never take what the mainstream says as the absolute truth, always do some research and be open to questioning and approaching things from different angles and trains of thought.

Most scientists knew masks worked. Early on Nature published a paper on the effectiveness of masks against Coronavirus from University of Hong Kong. This was before it became a big problem in most of the West. The anti-mask thing wasn't coming from scientists actually studying the virus, it was coming from Western culture. The belief in Western superiority cost a lot of lives, because the idea that the things East Asian countries are doing might actually work was too much to accept. They even claimed Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, etc. were lying about their numbers and secretly had tons of dead people. It wasn't until recently that they've finally begun accepting they actually did things effectively, but studies have been coming out this entire time on the effectiveness of masks.

You say there's almost zero info, but it was very easy to find.

Science is truth. Your gut is an unsupported opinion. Political analysts opinions are disclosed in the interest of the news companies making money. The point of science is finding knowledge with as much precision for truth as possible via lots and lots of tests and peer review. Predicting outcomes of events, such as a pandemic, is a goal of science having attained enough information from these tests and experiments to be more useful than not.

There is actually very little evidence anywhere to support that masks help stop the spread of the virus. The virus is way, way, way, way smaller than the thread gaps in a cloth mask or bandanna, for example. So if you cough with a mask on, it's still getting everywhere. Even if the mask blocks some "water droplets"---your breath can still carry viruses through it. Unless you have a plastic surgical mask. The best study I found in support of masks is the one linked in this very "scientific" Vanity Fair article....

https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2020/05/masks-covid-19-infections-would-plummet-new-study-says

This article links us to a study that's not peer reviewed, did not measure anything about the virus but rather water droplets coming from a persons mouth. And somehow they have this 80% statistic. If you wonder why the American people are weary about science, that's not really the case....people are weary of the news twisting science.

Here are several articles showing masks don't help--and often make healthy people more immune compromised, especially if they work in food or retail where they *must* wear masks on all day.

https://www.rcreader.com/commentary/masks-dont-work-covid-a-review-of-science-relevant-to-covide-19-social-policy

Not a peep about this research on Forbes, though, eh?

Here's another article here showing how media can exaggerate the effects of the virus:

https://abcnews.go.com/Health/coronavirus-long-term-effects/story?id=69811566

Talks about he lasting effects of a persons health after recovering the virus. They make it seem like anyone who gets the virus could have lasting brain, heart or lung damage. What the article doesn't MENTION AT ALL is that the average age of person studied is in their 50's, and ALL of the people who had so called "lasting effects" (which, not sure how they arrived at this given that the study was done in March) were over 70 with pre-existing conditions, like heart problems, diabetes, etc. To find this information you have to find the study and read it yourself. Amazing how the article mentions nothing of the age of the subjects. OH and the age of persons affected with "lasting effects", even among the elderly, was low.

At any rate, it should be common knowledge that what we had was an overreaction. It's absolutely baffling why they locked healthy people up for months only to completely open up anyway, complete with arbitrary restrictions that killed the small business. It's naive to think those in power didn't use this to expand that power. Who made out like a bandit on this? Government got to make more people dependent on them, which will let them expand their power. Fast food chains miraculously all had their delivery/remote ordering programs in place in the past year and are LOVING that all of their walk-in competition is essentially dead. Walmart/Amazon/Media (mainly gaming) companies had some of their best numbers.

You can't just believe the "official CNN.COM" story any more, and that's not anti-science...in fact, in my opinion, it's very pro science.

Yeah man the most prestigious scientific journals say they work but according to you only non-scientific sources say that. That the countries that have used them from the start have the death rates 1/100th of the West and just happen to have a mask wearing culture are nothing but coincidences. Why are Westerners so obsessed with hating masks? What is even the benefit of pushing this conspiracy?

Because he is absolutely right...

An example of this would be the fact that nobody can have more than 10 people at a funeral, or memorial service, however the funeral and memorial for George Floyd was thousands and thousands of people, not wearing masks, and sure as fuck not social distancing--the media didnt make a peep about any of it, and matter of fact basically said almost verbatim, that ''we support protests against racism and deem the protests safe to attend, however we do not support protests against stay at home orders, as they are rooted in white nationalism, and are not medically safe to attend''.

I dont feel like digging up the picture, but that shit was plastered on the screen on one of the news stations. Its blatant hypocrisy, and is about as Anti-Science as one could get. In my opinion there should be equal support for everything, as long as certain measures are taken--and that would be an unbiased way to go about it, instead medical professionals and the like are taking political sides, and politicizing something that has no business being politicized.

Anyways, idk what this dude said before that bothered you and made you think hes a troll--but the quote i provided is 100% accurate, and is not a troll.

Um, gee, I wonder why "anti-science" is a thing. The virus was a dangerous factor during the small and scattered anti-lockdown protests but health officials are ok with the BLM police protests. We see your bias and will not submit to your medical tyranny.
No they weren't.

The guy can have all the degrees he wants, that won't change that he's a major crackpot. He claims to have invented email.

Do you have any proof that he is a liar? Have you done any actual research on him? Let me answer that for you: probably not. Because if you did, you'd know that early versions of "email" were essentially text messages, they lacked the complexities of an in-office paper mail system that was used by companies. Inbox, outbox, drafts, address books, all of those features had to be converted electronically and made into a format that was accessible to anyone. And Dr. Shiva was the first to do so, and was the first to get an official copyright document.

You don't make any sense. You made the claim that she wasn't charged, on the basis that you have no idea if she was charged or not?
You say there's almost zero info, but it was very easy to find.

You're telling me to do research, but you don't appear to do even this level of basic research.

So you stated something without knowing about it, and didn't do the very easy work of finding out. At least you're honest about having no clue what you're talking about, that's a step up from the typical tinfoilers.

The articles you're posting are from a different occurrence that happened in 2011. I have not seen the documentary myself, so of course I don't have the exact information that she herself claims. I have to do all my digging on different people and subjects that are related to this one.

I'm perfectly capable of doing my own research. You're the one that seems incapable of doing basic research, as you can't seem to find the courage to look past the status quo and learn that there are multiple perspectives to many things. Calling me tinfoil for having an unpopular opinion? That only leads me to believe you don't care to learn new things.

"you sourced your claims, you must be wrong" is a spicy take if i ever heard one.

also, you forgot to switch accounts.
Not only do you not really care to try and learn something different, you think we're the same account. That only strengthens my case.

Switch accounts? You're confused...you asked me for ''sources'' or whatever--and the other guy who agreed with me provided you some, and you responded to him. I simply was responding to the post you made responding to him. I dont have an alternate account, but if i did, i wouldnt need to switch back and fourth to provide links...i ignored your request for links initially, and when i chimed in to your conversation with dude, i replied that i wouldnt give links. What im saying is, i wouldnt give you links with my alt account either, if i had one.

Also, @Xenozoa425 i guess we both should just stop responding to this dude unless he speaks directly to one of us, because hes convinced we're alt accounts lol.

Yeah @N3xtG3nGam3r I'm not gonna respond to him anymore either, there's no use in trying to reason with someone that already has their mind made up and refuses to be open to hearing different opinions and ideas.

I'd love to see those prestigious scientific journals. The main reason I'm against them is because it basically will keep people in fear if healthy people everywhere are wearing masks. I also have asthma and have to wear one at work, and my doc's like, yeah in many cases masks are detrimental to the health of someone and it certainly applies to me. 8 hours a day while moving around a lot....the fact is, you're getting less oxygen in your blood and that's simply not good. After a busy shift I literally feel like i'm hungover, it's the same effect. The best thing you can do to keep yourself safe is take vitamins, diet, exercise and get outside in the sun. But the narrative is still "stay in as much as possible". I've never seen Dr. Fauci mention ANYTHING about keeping a healthy routine in your private life and that's puzzling. I'm sure it has nothing to do with the fact many supplements aren't controlled by big pharma <_<...I think most people aren't anti science. They don't trust a government program funded by an anti-population zillionaire. I don't think that makes them stupid or crazy.
