I didn't even see a Cicada Shell until yesterday lol.
Also I just found out that the walking stick is also available now, and for even less time than the evening cicada.

Ummm how rare is the cicada shell? I've pretty much caught everything except that and the evening cicada.

It was the very last catch I needed for the month (aside from the diving critters)

got a giant isopod and put it outside Octavian's house.
now I have all the sea creatures available this month.

I looked it up and only one new creature appears next month.

Yup. No worries. I actually started my switch up this morning to find that my save file was corrupted. Tried to fix the corruption by downloading and reinstalling the game again but that didnt work so I guess my island is gone...

so Im taking a break from it all

The kicker about all this is just trying to figure out what we're paying Nintendo for. To let us connect to the internet? Where is the game saving to? Why can't we use these saves as a backup?

As far as I've heard Animal Crossing doesn't have cloud saves. It seems like the saves are different from every single other game somehow, every other game will transfer your save with a system transfer. AC doesn't.

So in regards to AC, to get past the color lock bs and get all the fruit types. It's really sad how annoying and useless yet almost mandatory at the same time NSO is for this game.

Good news, tournament point totals are cumulative throughout the year. First fishing tourney I got about 80 points cus it was Easter weekend and I was busy. Today I did 3 rounds, totally 23 points, and CJ gave me the bronze trophy. Bug tournament last month I already got the gold, but at least this is good to know.

Well, I have a new island. Just starting out again. I forgot how much it sucks gathering resources at the beginning, like iron. Need 30 for the shop, but I need some for tools and you can only gather so much from your five rocks and have to island hop. But island hopping requires tickets and you have to buy them with two thousand nook miles that you can only get from tasks, some of which require tools.

wasnt by choice. I booted it up last week and got notice that my island was corrupted. Could either start over or not. Choosing not was like ok, but you cant do anything so lol.
