I just beat FFX last night and it was a pretty decent game. I enjoyed it, but FFIX is still my personal favorite. I played FFX-2 as a kid and enjoyed it despite not really understanding what was going on, but now that I beat FFX I can see why people did not like FFX-2 because it completely changes the tone of the game and kind of goes against the original story. I thought about playing it again after I just beat FFX, but I kind of don't want to. I kind of like the ending to it tbh. The final boss was done well imo. However, I think FFX-2 had one of the best battle system in the series with FFXII being my favorite overall. FFX has a phenomenal soundtrack as well. I felt early on that my entire team was useless though, but as the game developed I began to like the at least 2/3 of the cast. Wakka was kind of annoying (though no where near as annoying as Snow) and Kimahri was just useless in combat.

If I were to sum up my feelings for FFX I would say that the game itself was decent, but the ending wraps it up well and satisfying that it makes it a great game. This is ignoring X-2. I would give it a solid 8/10 worth playing at least once.

I haven't played any of the games aside from 3 houses. My first play through in that game was the Golden Deer.

Since it's summer, I think I have enough time to play 2 or even 3 more titles in the poll. Unless I end up buying something else especially with steam sale coming.
