Everything is almost opened up, masks are optional to wear, we can resume small group activities, and cases are way down. Like way down.

Im assuming things are slowing down everywhere too.

they stopped any further reopening. 3 county's are getting hit hard by corona cases. it's going to spillover to other county's soon enough.

memorial day and soon to be protests being the cause of the increases (without mask, it can't limit infection).

I see a lot of people wear masks, but my state no longer cares.

Yes. Everything is still locked down except for essentials and big box retail (no malls). Restaurants are take out only.

I'm in the Toronto metro

0 cases in my province for the past few weeks, that said, its driven people mad while shopping. Most grocery stores are letting in 120-130 people, my retail store is letting in 190. Because you know.... we like to get yelled at when we can't keep up with the amount of customers in the store.

Doesn't help that our door person is an idiot who is letting like 20 people in all at once instead of spreading them out.

Well it's a big deal in the sense that cases and percent positive numbers are going up but no one around here seems to give a fuck.

michigan. we're finally starting to open up. next week haircut and some other places are opening up. last week we finally got to eat inside restaurants. still some places closed and still distancing and a lot of people wearing masks in stores. we went from 3rd hardest hit to one of the least new cases per day. we have less than most of the states that have opening up a month ago.

we'll see how things go with all the protests in detroit which was hit the hardest.

It's a big deal in the sense that we are still taking proper precautions, but for a case stand point things are going really well. Saratoga County has 229,863 citizens, and according to our county health department site we have 34 active cases. They don't update it on the weekends, so that may be have gone up, but for the most part is has slowly been going down.

Being a state that peaked earlier feels pretty good right now, though it took a lot of lives to get to this position. Hopefully NYC has the same luck we've had with opening up.

It's thankfully pretty under control here. We're in the green and things are looking good as of now at least.

Life is pretty normal now.

Hell, we had a live sport in front of a sellout crowd. In a way it's nice being able to do the tourist things around home without the hordes of people (although obviously I'm very aware how crucial tourism is).

You know I went out just to readjust a yard lamp a few minutes ago, and I am 99% certain I heard live music coming from Downtown, Saratoga. Literally the first time I heard that this year. I haven't even seen Broadway in months, or at least Downtown.

I did just, finally get my hair cut today which was on South Broadway.
But Downtown, no.

However, tomorrow is another day as they say.
