Would you accept such a job?

Easy, non-strenuous work, in an AC-room. You get time to post on GameFAQS, watch Youtube videos, etc. as well.

Would you take such a job?

Kobe > LeBron. It's only internet stat nerds who think Lebron is better. Watch the games and stop calculating Lebron's PER with your wristwatch calculator.

No. You're stuck with this job until you hit retirement, or die.

Ive noticed that many high stress salaried managers are literally just doing it for a couple of years and saving up. So id do this for as many years as i could and save.

I would do it, but it depends on some small factors. like what's the commute like? Do we have any form of breaks or vacation time?

The amount of hours really drives down the hourly wage. You'd be making about $54/hr which is equivalent to someone working normal hours and making $114,000 a year. I'll make that in a few years at my current job anyways. Pass.

Apart from the social life (and free time), those are all positive points...?

30 minutes to and from work. Business hours from 8 am to 8 pm. Your job has gaps averaging about 45 minutes inbetween customers for you to do whatever you want in the confines of work (internet, nintendo switch, working out, etc.). You get two bathroom breaks.
No vacation time, but Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are half hours (8 am to 2 pm).

On a normal day pre covid I technically work 10 1/2 hours a day at a minimum and upwards of more and I make about 1/9 of that a month, with no overtime pay or bonuses.

But the additional two days a week would suck

construction. Demo on one mill then all the parts got shipped south and we did an addition to that mill with the parts from the other one.

It was awesome. We occasionally had to go strip the old mill more and it was the creepiest abandoned ghost town by then. The workers were informed the olace was bought out and just got mad and left. There were half full coffee cups all mouldy and abandoned equipment and computers. It was trippy.

The building part was eh but the demo was cool as fuck and unsupervised so it was like half urban exploration half work. Lol.

How long does the job take on average (not counting travel inbetween sites).

And where is this all happening in (Canada?)?
