I'll explain better.

I recall a time, about 2 years ago, in which I would obsess over replies/conversations with women. Because I was not genuinely confident, conversations usually led me, instead of me leading conversations. I would analyze and ruminate over my own texts, not confident in what I had written. But even worse, it was the anxiety I felt while awaiting replies.

Outside forces are everywhere. They are as much the weather as they are your phone, friends, tv, media, video games, etc.

When it comes to women, especially if you even have a drop of insecurity, you will quickly find yourself consumed by even the smallest of outside forces (things you will NEVER control). Maybe it's been 4 hrs since she replied. Maybe you replied too fast. Maybe she's not into you anymore and you find yourself clinging to a dead relationship.

Ever feel that way?

Yes, I have before. I recognized this and decided to let it go. The convo I had tonight wouldn't have happened otherwise. I was just musing over it working. It was quite possible she not reply and I said to myself, that is ok and it wouldn't bother me.
That is, she took more than 4 hours to reply.
