Once the local Taco Bell skipped our order so after like 15 minutes of waiting we complained and got free food as a result

Then on one of my birthdays I went out to a Cheddar's, got sat down by one waitress, and promptly got forgotten for 45 minutes. Didn't even get our drink orders taken. I think the lady who sat us down legit went home and just didn't relay us to the next server. Eventually we got tended to but I didn't complain since it was a busier night.

I've had my amendment missed before.

Though come to think of it, there was this one time at a steak house where our waiter kept walking past (and our food was raw) so we got the manager. Then he was being a douchebag about the comment of the server was "shit", but did fix, refund and give another night on the house to make amends for the BS.

Yeah, me and my friend went to a sushi place in town once and were seated. We sat for like 25-30 minutes and IIRC nobody even took our drink orders. We tried flagging someone down but we got a "just a second" and nobody ever came. We ended up just leaving.

I didn't want to bother and just let it go but my friend called and complained. I think they just said sorry we were understaffed. We've never been back.

Staff forgot about me at a Steak n Shake where I waited 30 minutes while sitting at the bar. Got an upgraded meal for free

One time the waiters gave half the people at our big table food and left like 3-4 plates on a booth right next to us that I could see was our food. So every second that passed I was getting more irritated, until after about a minute I just got them myself. I normally would find it disrespectful to step into someone's job cause of my impatience, but that's disrespectful to put someone's food across the room while everyone else is already eating. That's just a huge pet peeve. I'm sure it just slipped someone's mind.

Went to a wings place I think BWW with my family and got seated. Waiter bought us drinks and free chips. It was world series night and takeout orders took priority. Never got a chance to order and after 30-40 min of being neglected we walked out and went to a burger place instead. Got free drinks and chips so I wasn't mad.

Once in a take out
I immediately turn to the man and said "oi, I was before you so I was" and he apologized

I intimiated him.

One time I forgot to pay my tab at a bar because I was too drunk.

It was fine, they had my card anyway and when I went back the next day to apologize and settle it up they said don't worry it happens all the time.
