I liked the kind of story it told of people protecting their world from invaders. and the special effects were really cool. I saw it in theaters with the full 3D effect and it blew me away. there is a scene in the opening of the movie looking down a hallway on a ship and it looked like it actually had depth to the image. I thought I actually was looking down a hallway. and in another part some pollen was in the air and I caught myself raising up my hand in the theater to brush it away from my face. cool stuff <cite>Zikten posted [p:940384754] in my son did... The visuals in this movie are stunning. It's gorgeous, and was totally worth seeing in the theater for spectacle alone. But the script is not good.
