You don't have to at all. But I'm sure CM Punks point is that he already knows the character of Styles and knows where he stands. And it's very telling when someone is active in social media, and even comments on sensitive subjects, but actively avoids the biggest subject in the world at that time. Especially when part of the message is that silence and indifference against oppression let's the oppressors continue without resistance. That's when someones silence speaks volumes.

But to your question about the video, it could very well be from some "EDGY" FED that thought they'd get over big by being more offensive than what the more mainstream FEDs thought was offensive.

Ive honestly never really seen a reason to believe aj styles isnt still homophobic. I think he apologized at some point but n a light hearted half joking way, but tigers dont usually change their stripes in that short a stretch of time.

I mean just based on that video, he is just saying a horrible word that used to be commonly used as an insult. Most of those clips are nearing 20 years old. Not that I'm saying he isn't homophobic, I'm just saying I think this is people trying to dig up things to prove he is a bad person when on their own they don't necessarily show that. Times were different, just look at Bill Burr's celebrated tear down of Philadelphia.

I also don't get why he is obligated to speak up and have his character called into question for not doing so. Is a meaningless tweet with #BLM really the difference between someone doing something and not doing something?
