She just got level 2 and can cast one Wizard spell but I haven't found any scrolls. So she gets to wear armor for now.

Got through the Easthaven stuff.

Had to reload twice in the cave because the damn Ogre kept killing Urgzob.

Unacceptable. Urgzob is ten Ogres.

Just got through the pass to go to Kuldahar. I met a Hermit who was a jerk, then resisted a pickpocketing and teleported away.

Damnable plot-thread-dangling bastards, confusing proper folk like that.

I'm on level 3 of the crypt.

Had to reload once because holy SHIT did I not know what was around the corner on level 2. Like 18 spooky skeletons, two wights, and a mage ruined my day.

Been doing some SERIOUS pulling bullshit.

Poke my head in, draw off three, run like hell back to the party.

It's like WoW all over again.

Lucidus Marcellus V is really not living up to the potential of his family name. The Fighter/Thief is probably my MVP right now.

that's the only Infinity Engine rpg I ever finished. I even did both expansions. For whatever reason I've never finished Baldurs Gate though I have started it multiple times. I found Icewind Dale to be really fun though. I just wish the sequel didn't have it's original data lost. they cant' remake it like the rest of the games. that's why there is no Icewind Dale 2 Enhanced Edition :(

and it sucks cause I never finished the 2nd one and now the game is hard as fuck to find or get to work on a modern computer. oh well

So now my Cleric is drunk forever.

Tried to have him cast Remove Curse but it turns out trying to get the drunk guy to cure his own drunk curse is fucking hard

can you get it cured by a priest at a temple?

It just went away. No idea what's going on.

New game plan: if the potion is the wrong color it gets sold.

Dumped a purple antidote because of it.

I'll take my antidotes a PROPER GREEN thank you.

Also wasn't paying attention and dropped like 8 or 9k on a helmet that gave +3 AC and immunity to sleep/fatigue.

Turns out only the Halfling can wear it.

Lucidus Marcellus V had three very important milestones today in the life of a Sorcerer.

1. He learned Fireball.

2. He completely invalidated a boss fight with the CLEANSING FIRES OF JUSTICE

3. He made me reload an earlier save because the CLEANSING FIRES OF JUSTICE accidentally immolated about 7 innocent villagers.

Got through the Trolls and whatnot, saved the priestess.

Did a little bit of level 3 before swinging back by town to dump goods and restock.

The Smith's kid gave me a pretty sweet hammer and the wizard is selling level 3 and 4 scrolls now.

I had a nice moment where Turn Undead actually fucking worked but unfortunately my guy is so low level all it did was send Wights scattering EVERYWHERE.

Pain in the ass to hunt them all down, that definitely wasn't the Wight way to do it.

Accidentally pulled all of the Necromancer's squad and funneled them across a bride. Easy wipeout, she didn't last very long alone.

Also just finished with the snake people.

I took a break to start a Shadowdancer in BG1.

It took him literally three minutes to kill Shank or Carbos in Candlekeep, but he didn't get hit once.

Those two have to be the least dangerous people in the entire series.

Like, level 1 Commoner.

I remember cleric/ranger being pretty great in BG2 as you got all the cleric and druid spells. don't know if Icewind dale is the same.
