btw you can easily argue the violence is justified, but you can just as easily argue its not. That's why its literally been a debate forever....(generalized justification for violence...today is just a specific instance of it)

I'd say being murdered because of your skin color is a pretty justifiable reason for violence.

It's a really strong argument for sure

But then you get into dicey things....like what if you're murdered but not for the color of your skin? Just a plain ole murder...does that justify it?

Is there a number of murders that justify mass violence? What if the stats show more violence actually reduces the efficacy of retribution?

It's not like there aren't arguments for pacifism that go back way before any of us were born. This stuff has been thought about at length, we just forgot most of it because bandwidth...too much info out there to parse through
