Personally, it seemed like the 90s were a much more optimistic time to be alive.

The world now feels much worse off now, in spite of all the cool tech thats become available since the 2000s.

Some would argue that the tech is a contributing factor to much of the anxiety.

Social media is pretty much crammed down our throats to the point where a person has to actively avoid exposure to it.
