lentils are cheat code for dirt cheap vegetable protein. also any kind of bean.

eggs are obviously fantastic. ground turkey or chicken breast is the best poultry source you'll find. I guess you could do ground pork but that's not great. beef should be obvious as well. peanut butter is ridiculous.

If you're lifting and looking to get bigger then optimally you want 40% of your daily calories to be protein. But that's not always realistic, especially now. Most people just seeking to be healthy should shoot for 30% of their calories to come from protein.

Idk about your choices man, like just look at the first thing you mentioned, peanuts. I have some here and a serving has 7 grams protein, which is 28 calories of protein, out of 170 calories in a serving. That's only 16% of protein coming from those calories

I highly recommend just trying to eat generally healthy and throwing some protein supplements in there to make sure you're getting enough. Like for example a scoop of Whey protein in water each day. Tastes fine to me, only 190 calories and 32 grams (128 calories) are from protein. That's 67% of calories coming from protein. And then of course grilled chicken. A piece is only 100 calories but has 20 grams protein (80%). Varies obviously depending on the kinds you get.
