How long do iphones last? I just need one to hold me over to the new phone launch.
I can get the iPhone 8 and probably only pay 300 for it new since I can trade it in for about 200 cash to a secondhand shop and it's 500 upfront new

I mean really I just want something to maybe last me another year, eg to the 2021 release of an iphone .I have the iPad so I don't plan on actually using the phone for anything than calls/texts and emergency photos if I need one at work and don't have the iPad.

It's just strange to me going from a flagship android, the note 10+ to a cheapass old iPhone that would actually still hold up

I've had my iPhone X since launch day and haven't had a problem that wasn't related to running public betas (which is sort of the point). I hear the recent SE is pretty good for a "budget" iPhone. Haven't seen it for myself, for obvious reasons.

I use my iPad a helluva lot more than my MacBook Pro, but that's mostly because I have a dedicated computer already. I should really practice my Final Cut more if I'm going to be making any videos on down the road.

I have a Mac Book Air and the new IPhone se from this year. I don't really have a preference. I just went broke buying the MacBook Air.

I was planning on getting an 11 Pro last year due to an interest in taking better photos at events that I can't take my DSLR to, but financial plans fell through.

Shame. I was pretty enthusiastic about it. The one purchase I could take care of was replacing my Series 3 watch with the 5. I appreciate the always-on screen and figure it always should've been that way, but I guess the tech had to catch up.
