i remember looking over the shoulder of some dudes that had one back in jr.high and was thinking it was kinda meh. i never really liked handhelds until the gba and the castlevania/metroid shit for it dropped.

It kinda has to only have a few good games when it only has a few games period.

even the good games on game gear are mostly just hand held versions of genesis games. there isn't really much of a reason to play game gear in 2020. and I say that as someone who owned one as a kid.
