Both are the "smart TV" variety unfortunately and 4k, no other variety around and no avi ports, so I can only play my modern systems on it. Will also occasionally use to watch movies and shows.

I like Samsung panels but I've never even owned a Sony or known someone who has.

What is your budget? When it comes to the mid/high range TVs, samsung's qleds are known for being a bit oversaturated (this isn't necessarily a bad thing depending on your uses. The saturation imo lends itself well to video games and watching anime. Games like dragonball fighter z pops on my q9fn) compared to sony's more natural look for their TVs (which is better for movie and TV watching, getting the director's intent with the look and whatnot). *I also get a lot of use out of samsung's game motion plus function, which can give a look nice on those 30 fps locked console games. Not too useful for games that is naturally 60 fps or if you are primarely a PC gamer than can achieve high framerates whenever you want though*
Use rtings to look up each brand. You can sort it by price range and easily compare TVs. The sony TVs will definitely be cheaper on average though. https://www.rtings.com/ --- GTag:MadDogg730 PSN:lMadDogg NNID:xMadDoggx I bet my left nut on bloodstained ritual of the night being awesome...I like my left nut IGA, come through for me. ... All depends on price man.
If you can afford OLED that's probably the highest quality picture but it's gonna cost a lot. If you want something a little cheaper then Samsung QLED has an amazing screen and the high-end Bravia's are right up there too. Rtings.com is my go to for checking out any TV I'm thinking about buying. --- E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES ... Copied to Clipboard!
