In a highly unusual move, Chauvin who is facing a murder charge in the death of George Floyd was transferred to Oak Park Heighs Prison, Minnesota's only Level 5 Maximum security facility He was previously at Ramsey County Adult Detention Centre where he was on suicide watch before being moved to Hennepin County Jail because of COVID-19.
