iirc the county medical examiner said floyd's prior medical condition played a factor but the family's independent coroner said it did not, if i remember right.

I believe the family's coronor. The one working for the county has a reason to lie

I think if he had been shot 14 times with a gun they'd be trying to say he had hemophilia

I'd sooner trust gravity to stop working than whatever bullshit the county said. They're desperately trying to squash the protests

I believe the independent doctor.
The reason for this is I don't believe that the police would actively punish Chauvin and will do anythin the can to downplay this as done on purpose.

See even if the examiner is right and it was because of prior medical conditions, that cop still brought it on. To me it changes nothing.

Does the independent doctor have any reason to be bias? Or a history with high profile cases?

Even taking this out of its full context, I'd still believe the more plausible results (the knee on his neck killed him) over the less plausible results (the knee on his neck exacerbated a rather convenient preexisting condition that killed him).

Who knows. Neither of them is independent. The county ME works for the county and the "indenpendent" coroner was hired and paid by the family's attorney. Which autopsy you believe says more about you than it does about the validity of either result.

For the sake of the country, I hope the family's coroner is more believable in court. This country is going to burn unless Chauvin and the other officers get the maximum possible sentence.

I would say the independent. The county medical examiner is always overworked.

One concludes that the cop murdered him but the medical examiner twisted it in such a way to provide as much plausible deniability to the cop as possible.

The other concludes that the cop murdered him and did not attempt to twist anything.
