Started a new Khajit character, planning on primarily archery and thief skills with dual wielding daggers as a backup. Using multiple mods including Ordinator and Alternate Start, so I spawned in a Khajit caravan near Markarth. Already started both the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood quests enough to get the respective armors, so I'm off to a good start. Haven't even hit Riverwood yet to start the main quest.

Oh, and got me some Gloves of the Pugilist too, so that plus my race bonus to unarmed damage means I KO in brawls in a few strikes. Took out the feisty wench in front of Whiterun in a single power strike. (Regular enemies have a nice "bash your face in" kill cam too lol)

You played the dumbest race on Skyrim. Hope someone skins you alive and use your fur as a fucking rug. Should have used the superior race Imperials.

Unironically the most useless race in Skyrim from a play perspective, they're not even good in a lore sense since they got buttfucked by the Thalmor

You probably already knew this TC, but since you're using Ordinator, make sure and explore the Unarmed perks in the Light Armor tree. Haven't had a chance yet myself, but I've heard their pretty damn awesome - elemental strikes and stuff like that, actually makes H2H a viable combat form.

I've been thinking about it. I'm trying to stick to archery instead of getting up close and personal for most of my damage, since it's something I haven't really done before and I'm getting tired of the dual dagger thing for assassins and thieves. Maybe I'll go the monk route for CQC instead

(even if daggers do end up getting ridiculous benefits like 18x sneak damage... after you get to a certain level of stealth it's just way too OP, on a previous char I could sneak up in almost broad daylight and insta-kill anything)

Khajit

If you're limiting yourself for RP purposes that's understandable, but if you're limiting yourself due to lack of perk points, Enai has a 50% More Perk Points mod to compliment Ordinator (since you'll never come close to scratching the surface of what Ordinator can offer with the vanilla amount of perk points).

Personally I use a mod that lets you convert dragon souls to perk points at a special altar in High Hrothgar; actually makes dragon souls / fighting dragons worthwhile past the early game, and lets me enjoy Ordinator more fully. And it's decently immersive since I have to travel to HH every time I want to convert them; I tend to plan trips there so that I can both convert souls and meditate on new Words of Power at the Thunderchild shrine.

Incidentally, if you don't have Apocalypse or Thunderchild along with Ordinator, those both get my highest recommendation.

Adding new mods is a problem right now, since I'm a console peasant and Bethesda keeps telling me that their server is down (which by all accounts it isn't)

So I haven't been able to add new mods or even see proper descriptions of my current mods for the past two days. I was tempted to just do a full reinstall to see if that fixes it, but if I do that... I'm potentially left losing what I already downloaded and playing 100% vanilla

Their servers are trash for console.

I generally have to try a few times in a row to get it to work... don't just try once a day.

@treewojima don't reinstall. Not sure who started the idea that it would help with Bethesda's craptastic server issues, but it never does, and just leaves you modless and unable to dl them again. Ever since the servers went down for a few days a couple weeks ago, I usually get the 'operation could not be completed' window when I first try to access the mods, but then I typically get in on the second try.

Just try a few times, and if you're still having no luck, go to the dashboard and settings, turn your internet connection off for ten seconds then on again. If you're still having no luck, try again in a few hours.

Yeah, I was smart enough to hold off on nuking from orbit, I was just frustrated. I'll power cycle my router, do a hard reboot on the Xbone, etc. I'm not about to lose my mods, it took long enough just getting them in the right load order without nifty PC tools like LOOT or Wrye Bash

Weeeellllll, I have the unlimited ring/amulet mod, so that plus the cool Ordinator perks for light armor (which is where unarmed damage was moved to anyway) means I can wear whatever the fuck I want and have stacking +unarmed, to ludicrous levels if I felt like being cheap >_>

definitely recommend installing inigo mod when you can though because hes so fun, and he legit has something to say about every situation
he feels like more than an npc honestly hes so great

If you're playing on PS4 it doesn't have the Inigo mod because they don't allow the external assets and scripts needed to use it. Either way you should use the Bethesda web sight to add mods, that way it's in your list and you only need to download it.

Head to Bethesda.net, go to the Skyrim SE mod page, search Inigo there (the 'most popular' box should be auto-checked), and favorite it. Then go into the in-game mod page and find it in your Favorites menu. Not very efficient, but oftentimes much less of a headache then trying to search in-game.
