I've seen a couple of posts about shit going down at Village Pointe, are you out that way? Idk if it's just a protest forming or people rioting.

I'm off of 144th and Maple, so that's two miles away. I haven't heard any rumblings from some folks I know further out west, but they're also a bit north of Village Pointe.

I know the County Sheriff's office is off of 156th, so I figure that may also be a hotspot for folks in this neck of the woods.

A State Senator is requesting this to go to a grand jury. Not all evidence was reviewed. He also asked for people to send in more evidence.

OPD Chief is asking for people to send in any evidence they have including audio. Just because he was released doesn't mean it's over.

Crowd downtown is massive now. Last night they let them go 45 minutes past the curfew. Wonder if they'll do the same tonight.

Seems to have been ended relatively smoothly. Some tear gas and pepper balls used and a bunch of people arrested (mostly minorities from the stream I'm watching, the white guy filming was allowed through...). But nothing out of control, yet anyway.

Just watched a streamer try to get to his car for like 30 minutes. Kept getting to blocked intersections and police at each one told him which way to go and he kept running into more road blocks. Finally as he was like one block from his car he got arrested. Cop put the still streaming phone in the guy's backpack so everyone was watching the darkness.

Last part was funny with all the "everyone be quiet we're in an evidence bag" comments

But wtf, they basically led him into a trap.

Only multiple videos of Martial Law being enforced where it shouldn't exist in the first place. And I'm not talking about the streets, that's one thing, but peoples actual homes, when they are out on their front balcony getting fired at by cops/military.
