Tried to see how far I could make it without entering even a health cheat code, just to see if I could. Never played the game without cheat codes, ever.

Made it through almost the entire game, even some of the more difficult missions. Then you get to the last mission... yeah fuck no. Literally just an army of goons shooting at you with fully automatic guns that you have to somehow get through in 2 minutes to stop a helicopter with the bad guy before they get too far and you can't shoot em down. And it's not like you could use your bulletproof car from a previous mission (the fuck was the point of it if I can't use it when I need it)

But before the last mission, I actually made it without using cheat codes. Gave me a new appreciation for the game and its two sequels.

If you found all the hidden packages you'll have enough time to pick up your arsenal at your shoreside vale hideout. Makes it much easier.

Well that and the bulletproof Patriot.

The last mission is easy if you have a tank which you don't need a cheat for.

Only time I started to actively find all the collectibles was in san andreas, when the mechanics improved and water wasn't a death sentence. Didn't mind doing those, don't know if trying to find all 100 packages in 3/vice city is easier when they can't swim

I never really used cheat codes except to mess around tbqh. They make missions kind of boring

The hidden packages in gta3 are easy peasy, especially if you use an online guide. There are only a couple that you need a boat to get to.

I did inadvertently get like 40 something packages, so that does sound like a guide (which I of course used for SA) would make getting them easy enough.

The best part of the bulletproof patriot is going back to the first island in mafia territory and seeing all those traitors' bullets just bounce off the car. I hated how they got such a huge weapon upgrade and could insta-kill me on sight so that was perfect revenge.

Yeah.

Plus the last mission isn't that hard. Not sure what TC was doing.
