I don't foresee it helping the movie. Knowing Snyder, I expect the cut to be darker and more serious, which is what I disliked about most of the DCU films to begin with.

I'm pretty excited and curious. I personally think BvS wasn't as bad as it was made out to be and Watchmen and MoS were pretty good.
