The police dont serve and protect the people. They are enforcers of the law. Thats literally all they ever have been.
The military exists both to fight enemies of the state and to defend the country. Two separate ideals for two separate groups. It could be the police end up fighting the military at some point like we have seen in other countries. --- ... Copied to Clipboard!
