Expected it to be a weekly thing, noticed many episodes (probably the whole first season) on Netflix yesterday.

So far so good, Steve Carrel, Jane Lynch, Patrick Warburton, Larry Campbell , Lisa Kudrow? Comedy Icons.
Let's hope they are utilized well and not just big names to draw me in.

I just happened to notice it last night and watched the first three episodes before going to sleep. I enjoyed it enough that I plan to watch the rest.

Since then John Malkovich, Roy Wood and Ben Schwarz, let's hope this does not result in oversaturation...

Edit: Fred Willard!

Edit 2: Sheila and Angela are cute and adorable.

If they manage to keep this up, this just might work.

I watched the first episode and didnt laugh so I stopped.
I might try a couple more episodes though.

The funniest part so far seems to be the shows origins, rather than the show itself.

Netflix releases entire seasons in one go it seems. I watched the first episode and half of the other. Its pretty good, especially making fun of relatively-current events.

I thought the How much did that cost us? scene was pretty funny. Fuuuu-

Theyre taking real-life arguments and making fun of them. Military overspending, the stupidity of it all etc.

3 episodes in, the show has really sold itself to me.

Only problem I have is the inconsistencies with Naird's Daughter's age.

Somehow she is young enough to still be not in the final years of secondary school, but also old enough that nobody bats an eye at dating a 10+ years older foreigner. No show, she is clearly under-age and I do not know what is creepier, the relationship itself, or nobody mentioning that age difference as any argument against it. Dawson casting does not make it acceptable for an under-age character to be with a much older one.

I also still feel like I missed something about the time jump between Naird's Promotion to 4-Star and him fully running Space Force, mainly about his wife's imprisonment and not really doing anything with that or explaining it...

Hard to believe anything with Steve Carell and/or John Malkovich would rate so slow

Better luck next time Netflix producers

Episode 8 was also unexpectedly emotional.

She's 18. Said it in ep1. Also Naird(carrell) hates it.

the Carrel/Malkovich dynamic seems to be the best part of the show imo

That is the inconsistent part, later episodes treat her like she is 16 at the oldest. He hates it because Yuri is clearly a Russian spy to him, whether that is true or an act that Yuri thinks is funny is left unclear. Yeah, Yuri either is an absolute idiot in dealing with a 4-star General and his father-in-law (English has no other short form for that that does not strictly imply marriage...) or the most brilliant spy ever.

--Way too theatrical for me, even for Steve Carell
--Rockets used in space for the normies, yeah, okay
--Just weird overall

I didn't like it. Couldn't make it past 2 episodes.
