I went to the doctor yesterday and I was so fucking exhausted and achy that I needed to borrow my mom's walker just to make it into the office. They didn't think it was Covid since very rarely does it not involve the respiratory system when you are that sick. I mean I was 104.2, usually you have at least congestion if this was that. They rushed that test and it came back negative, the others I'll probably need to wait until Monday to see. They also have me scheduled for blood work Monday, and one of the many things they are running is the antibody test to see if I had it the last time I was sick. I don't think they think this is connected, but I guess since I was never tested then and Cuomo pushing people to get tested that since I'm already there they might as well.

Symptoms that have stayed are a mild fever. I imagine my fever would be well over 100 if it wasn't for my mom being a nurse. I've been alternating between Ibuprofen and Tylenol, drinking water non stop, freezing cold wash clothes with this alcohol on it that makes it even colder, and rest. And this is all every few hours, so it's taking some effort to keep it this low. With all that, it's usually been 99.5-100.5. I'm still exhausted but I am now able to walk. No more chills or severe body aches.

So yeah, I don't know if this is good or bad. I mean it's not Covid and that's what scared me most of all not for myself, but for my family. To not have that is a fucking relief, but having something pretty bad and having no clue what it is, that's worrisome.

this is an unofficial guess but it could be a form of pneumonia. i had the exhausted/achy feeling after a bad cold despite being able to do some things as walking.
hopefully they find out the cause of this.
