I cant get past like the first hard enemy lol. Im pretty good at Bloodborne but seem to suck at the main series.

The other two are miles better in those regards but DS2 gameplay and build variety and such are

I didn't like it. Coming from DS1, it just was a bad follow-up. The game was just too focused on being "hard" and suffered for it. Bosses were uninspired, enemy placements were off, too many situations where enemies would gank you, the world layout wasn't as creative as DS1. That's just some of the issues I had with it.

on one hand, it lacked polish, but on the other, it had some cool bosses.

I only played the main game, and none of the dlc, but I thought that one mirror knight boss was really cool, as well as its stage.

I also dug the chariot boss and the one knight who guards the kings tomb.

and the king and the poison boss had interesting mechanics going on, where your encounters with them depended on what you did beforehand.

For me, the DLCs made DSII a lot more enjoyable. I just wish I had collected some of the loot from them *before* I beat the game.

I like it much more looking back.
Many cool locations, cool lore, some neat bosses.
It has its issues, but I kinda want to play it again.

I still haven't finished the first game. Probably have a ways to go, but I have no idea where to go lol

I'm beginning to think I hate open world with a passion.

It has a lot of issues, but at least it tries to differentiate itself decently from Dark Souls 1 rather than the nostalgia fart festival that is Dark Souls 3.
