There's something wrong with the system if there is mass rioting. History has shown this.
-LA 1992 riots-A racist LAPD triggers riot
-Assassination of MLK triggers riots nationwide
-Iranian downing of an airliner
-Even when the rioters are completely in the wrong, like the Night of Broken Glass, it was the system, the Nazis that created the event

Usually, something in society is going terribly wrong to lead up to rioting. Instead of being bent on blaming "thugs" maybe take a closer look at what built up to it. People aren't going to burn down buildings simply because someone died. Right-wingers seem to be incapable of blaming the circumstances that led up to events. It's much easier to be superficial and just blame the protesters. Perhaps the problem is a little more complex. History tends to show it is.

Occasionally this doesn't happen. White man crawling on his knees, begging and crying for his life. Daniel Shaver. Gets away with it. Minorities have it worse, sure, but not even whites are completely safe.

more like since europeans first brought slaves here. civil war didnt do shit. civil rights act barely did shit. black americans have been hundreds of years overdue for justice

And the societal problem is that people glorify stupid drunkenness. These protesters aren't drunk. Yes, there is a deeper problem if people are lighting shit on fire over a hockey game.

Additionally, rioting over a sports game is vastly different than over built up anger. And I think anyone can see that.

Riots against the state are actually one of the few things that have consistently happened in every society. Turns out when you ignore and shit on people long enough to where they have nothing to lose they decide to strike back.
