It's really difficult to support any of these candidates if you understand anything at all. I'll support the democrats over trump but even then it depends. There are too many blanket politics out there fighting a real war that's phony in it's own right.

The ease comes with the conservative viewpoint. The idea that the only things that matter are "me and mine". If you can label anyone outside your circle as "not real America", then you can justify literally anything being done on your country's soil to anyone.
