BathroomWater 05/28/20 7:02:54 PM #1:	How the protesters reacted when I refused to get out of my car and join them So yesterday i found myself rushing down Chicago Ave in South Minneapolis at sun set. I was picking up my girlfriend who had to be rushed to the emergency room that morning. As i approached tge hospital about 12 blocks away from the hospital the march that was the catalyst for last nights riots collided with my route and i was forced to stop. I honked in support to the black lives matter signs and posters demanding justice. This caught the mobs attention and quickly they focused on me and demanded i got out of the car and joined them. I claimed I cant A young man said come on we need you! leave your car there and join. I further explained i cant im on my way to the hospital to pick up my girlfriend. Several in the crowd heard this time and rushed over to the car. They got right up next to it and started waving and guiding the crowd to split. They yelled come on everyone let him through, he needs to get to the hospital! Like that the sea of protesters parted and the participants Cheered as i drove right through the middle of this massive crowd. Sone people rushed over to give useful items like masks, a box of pizza, and milk incase i got tear gassed. Fortunately I made it and found my girlfriend right in the thick of all this chaos. Later we infact left our car parked and joined the demonstration in honor of solidarity. This is my experience with last nights protest and the so called Thug participants.
