These are resources that should be used but not indefinitely or generationally. It's exhausting hearing those who don't work (or barely) complain that they get the shit end of the stick. I was at a grocery store and this lady had alcohol in the self check out line. I told her that she needed to go to a physical cashier to buy alcohol (so she wouldn't wait in the wrong line) and she goes on a rant about how it's awful to be on welfare and use wix or something.
