This scene at the end of City of Stone brings me to tears every time. Gargoyles deserves a lot more recognition and acclaim to match its amazing quality.

I wish they would revive this. either do a direct sequel like "The Next Generation of Gargoyles" or a remake or something. it worked for Ducktales. I always felt Gargoyles should have launched a massive franchise. it had so much potential for spin offs and movies, and video games and comics. it really should have been bigger than it was.

I was obsessed with this show as a kid and bought so many action figures of the gargoyles in both their stone phase and regular, and I can't believe that it turned out to not be that successful, with very few people knowing of it. Disney wanted it to be as big as Batman the animated series, to have their own dark and mature show, which is the only reason they gave greg weisman a chance. But the show really deserved so much better, I don't understand why so many didn't watch it.
