Don't get me wrong, I liked the Chimera Ant arc. It just felt overly long, and a lot of times felt like too much was going on. Greed Island just felt more fun to me.

King Piccolo is better than Cell by miles. The point is Greed Island is the worst arc in the series and a bad one in general.

I liked the Greed Island concept and there were a lot of good parts to it. Biggest flaw is that Bomber was a pretty generic baddie. Especially compared to Hisoka, the Spiders, and the Ants.

Chimera Ant was good except for that segment with the narrator. You know the bit.

Greed Island arc fucking sucked.

It destroys the rules of the entire universe, has a shit villain, and beyond Bisky and Hisoka it just was bleh.

I actually agree, though I feel like I might have liked the Ant arc much more if I hadnt had to wait half a decade for it to finish.

Also, yeah, that bit where Togashi just started writing it like a novel with the narrator talking everything through because Togashis art sucks and cant tell the story on its own was interminable. I feel like it made up like two cycles of Togashi chapters too, so 1-2 years.
