I feel like nobody talked about these games although I think they sold decently well. How do the fans feel?

They are basically Uncharted but not fun. They were talked about when they came out....they got shit on for being bad games.

I'm replaying the reboot and I'm curious about the others. It's kinda funny how gamey this one is compared to modern games already.

I think they're both pretty good, very fun to play, but overall not quite as good as the first new Tomb Raider or the Uncharteds. They've both got a bit of an open world element to them but they don't really do enough with it and it kinda disrupts the pacing a bit.

Rise was really average. I played it on the hardest difficulty and it was way too easy because of the gratuitous stealth and cover mechanics.

Too much emphasis on dumb Michael Bay sequences where you're just on auto-pilot while stuff is falling down around and behind you and you keep running.

And the story is dumb - it's based on the legend of a lost town, from an Eastern Orthodox religion. And the whole game you're finding relics and clues about this religion, but they never just outright say "Lol it's christianity and this was god", they dance around it the whole time. So it's really cringy that you're playing this character who is pretending like Christianity is some long-lost religion, when that's clearly what it's meant to be.

They sound like the perfect discount games tbh. The first wasn't super exceptional, but it was well out together and didn't overstay its welcome.

The gameplay mechanics get improved with each entry, but the story gets dumber. If you just want to run around and murder 7000 people, it's okay fun, but don't expect great puzzle-solving aspects like older TR games had.

Rise is more combat heavy, although I feel that the camera moves too close to Lara during fights.

Shadow is more stealth heavy, Lara is more of a glass cannon.

I like them both quite a lot and the more quiet, platforming/exploring aspect makes me enjoy it more than Uncharted (gameplay wise). It's a bit of a shame that she rarely shows emotions in the games making Jonah feel more like a real person than the main character, which is a shame. The moments she does are good though.

No, but they have the Nvidia equivalent Hairworks that tanks performance pretty badly apparently.
