Poorly-funded public schools is a misdiagnosis. The United States spends more on education than the next several countries combined, and yet, the United States also happens to do worse in academics.

how about mismanagement of that low funding? where 'special interest groups' push for more funding in wealthy neighborhoods/schools and leave the poorer ones with less? where teachers in this country make on average 1/3 less then teachers with similar educations in of those other countries that you mentioned?

all devos is doing here is cutting through the bullshit and looking to directly take money from public schools to fund her friends in private education.
