As said before, I've watched s1 and 2 before and then tried to watch s3 when it started but had basically forgotten everything.

Honestly I maintain s2 is still good TV by any measure, despite routinely being regarded as the worst season of the show. It probably helps I've basically been watching an episode every night though cos it's a slow burn at times and sets up a lot of plot points without ever closing them out during the season. So watching from week to week really doesn't keep these things as fresh in your mind.

I reckon you cut an episode or two worth of stuff down, do the prison reveal an episode or two earlier and it becomes a much better paced season. Honestly after Elliot gets out the pacing really ramps up for the better.

Yeah I guess I could see that happening. I think it's best to keep in mind that youre not necessarily meant to agree with him or think he's unqualified right or wrong when he goes off about stuff.

Started s3, feel like there's a very obvious shift in the first episode towards more direct and less abstract stuff by comparison to 2 lol
