I voted yes but I changed my mind. Alcohol has many uses outside of drinking, and to ban it outright would be foolish.

If it was just drinkable alcohol, then I would go for yes. Losing the first three would suck, but in exchange for $50 million it's worth it. There's still eggs and other dairy.

Yeah, honestly what's keeping me from sharp turning a squirrel from it's existence in my car, getting out of my car, grabbing it up and devouring it? No meat pretty much means no animals at all. If i'm a cannibal then no life exists anymore.

Dropped soda like 3 years ago (seltzer water is a godsend), don't drink outside of birthdays/holidays, I'll miss condiments, cheese, and meat, but 50 mil is way worth it. 150k would make this question difficult.

If cheese and meat suddenly gone, demand would so big, that whole world will develop alternatives faster than COVID vaccine and much better than current substitutes like beyond meat or Maybe even original meat Itself. Likely much healthier too at some point.

What it is has to do with dictators?

We discussing magical hypotetical scenario of meat and cheese go "poof".

It simplification, but ignoring some countries collapsing or going throw recession, yeah... probably governments going to fullfill vacoom as fast as possible and with their best efforts.

Ignoring lots of chain reaction crushing problems seemingly having nothing to do with meat and speaking of only food part....

Likely breakthroughs in some industries, various science departments, that open new know-how and capabilities, competitions in creating or enginering new foods, that just straigh up could be better, than what everything we eat.

Especially since there would be incentive to create solution for wave of beriberi-like incidents problem in populations. It would be question of national security.

also of course probably there would be much more vegans and their solutions.

Spicing food is a cornerstone of modern food consumption, we wouldt know how to live without it. Salt alone was once considered a kings spice.

yeah. But from personal selfish standpoint, i could go with that.
for meeting sodium requirements, I could just eat naturaly high sodium food or something.

condiments makes no sense. It is like I magically cant put any food in mixer and switch it on? Almost every food is condiment ingredient.

i can live without soda but the rest?? hell to the naw!!
