He said "You didn't have to come at me like that yelling at me like a child", "that's where your power is" referring to the phone, and "I thought you were supposed to beat my ass?" as he was in the the truck.

He wasn't aggressive. He wasn't threatening. And again, it was smart of them to wait for the police and record what this asshole was doing.

It doesn't matter whether you were in the right or not, if you post it to social media, let alone it going viral, you re fired. Doesn't matter how shitty the customer is so racism being involved isn't enough to just give em a pass. They re fortunate racism was involved as now they ll get a sizable cushion in their bank accounts to take care of them while they job hunt, a privilege anyone else who did a similar dumb move wouldn't get

These two guys deserve better than FedEx any. FedEx is terrible. I had a shipment ship from California to Tennessee back to California. No idea why they had to go such a roundabout way to ship from So Cal to Nor Cal.

There is literally an ongoing case about 2 white men chasing down and killing an innocent black man, this dude chasing them down and harassing them deserved to be told off and any fucking employer Ive ever worked for would stand by the employees here. The UPS video was about a driver's helper who only work like 4 weeks a year. When the holidays are over the helpers are let go.

I hate when companies have to side with asshole customers out of fear of looking bad. I got suspended and my hours cut because I asked a guy if I could finish taking another customer's order before I got him a cup of water (there was a hugeass line and he just cut to the front). He demanded an apology and my manager asked me to comply, but I sure as hell wasn't gonna bend over for that jerkwad. I don't question the manager's decision as that was clearcut insubordination, but there was a limit as to how far I'm gonna follow company policy in regards to customers.

Luckily a few days later I got an offer for a much better job, so it all worked out :3

Most companies out there say that you are not to post things on social media while representing the company. I volunteer a lot, and even those have it in the their terms.

While that's a zero tolerance thing, FedEx should now reinstate them since it looks way worse now that it is viral. It's the same way racists and stuff get canceled when something goes viral. The company doesn't really care the person was racist. They care that other people care and could boycott them.

UPS - Has an employee recording him arguing with a racist person. Still employs him. No controversy.

FedEx - Has employees recording themselves arguing with a racist person. Fires them. Controversy.

All UPS needs to do is hire those two guys as soon they can and make a campaign about being an inclusive company that works to combat racism and ensure safety for their drivers.

This was a stupid as hell move by FedEx.
