I loved the show. People said season four was not good, but I dug the character development they did it in.

Book 4 is definitely the most contentious. Personally, I really liked it, I just liked most of the other books more, lol.

Good news, I think Season 3 tightens some things up. I find that the show itself is abandoning the "game" and just allowing everyone, at all times, to be up to date on current events. That's a bit of a shame, as all the various threads/arcs are being merged for what I imagine is the big showdown. I liked the machinations more than the war, though, (so far.)
