Cleo_II 05/18/20 7:06:37 PM #1:	He was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer February of 2019. My cousin texted yesterday that he wasnt doing well and if we wanted to see him it needed to be in the next few days. We were on the way to see him but we were too late. He passed right before we got there. Im beyond devastated. My uncle was like a father to me. Much more than my biological one. Hed even call me his daughter. He took me in when I moved to the US. I stayed with him and my aunt for 6 months. He wouldnt even let me pay for food or a single pizza. He stood up to my mom and aunt when they started bashing me for wanting to move out and live alone (middle Eastern women typically dont leave the home until marriage). He told them to back the fuck off because I was an adult, which is huge coming from an old school middle eastern man. He accepted my husband when everyone else had an issue with the age and race difference initially. He helped my husband and I buy a house with a massive loan to put on the down payment. We were over there all the time for dinner (pre-covid) And not just me. He gave to charities, other family members, the community, etc all the time. My sister needed a surgery in Canada and he offered to pay it in full (she got through the public system though). The most generous and kind person Ive ever known. Im just glad he went peacefully. Cleo_II 05/18/20 7:52:37 PM #16:	Thanks everyone. Its a big loss to us all. All the family is grieving, even extended ones. He had a huge impact on us all. The crazy part is hes my uncle by marriage. But he treated us all like his own. He and my aunt had been married over 45 years.
