No. College is a joke these days for most colleges and degrees. An IQ test as a job requirement would be a cheaper and better way of seeing if you're qualified for a job in most instances.

Really depends on what your goals are. In my case I could get a comfy job with zero college after the military, but not having a Bachelor's limits promotability and pay options, at least for federal work.

Plus if I want a job outside of federal/contracting fields I need that degree to be competitive, even with 20 years of experience

Depends are where you live too. It's more important in cities, even if the degree isn't particularly relevant
