Mine have been opera and vaporwave during work and I have no idea why.

I'd always been sort of apathetic about music as a kid for a lot of reasons (some neurological, some socialized), but the one time I needed music was when I was making devil sticks. For some reason, after tuning the dial to every station, the only thing that didn't annoy me was opera. I never sought it out otherwise and only knew the names of two or three that we'd learnt in school.

I haven't made sticks in years, but now at work, I have to listen to vaporwave music or else I can't concentrate at all. Not sure why it's so important to my brain, although my job is programming chat bots for big companies, so the late capitalism distortion really mixes well with the audio files I work with.

Rarely do I listen to music for leisure otherwise, though I really like singing karaoke.

Nice! I have always dug a good harpsichord. Do you listen to it otherwise, or is it just a majestic mindset thing?

Mostly a majestic mindset thing I think. I like it, but it never really fits the mood otherwise for me. Definitely have noticed a focus improvement with it though.
