So when the pandemic started, the company started being shitty. Yall know this

they gave my boys an extra paycheck, THAT was a complete clusterfuck in of itself but thats another story

they gave ME extra vacation. ...I..didn't know what to think of it. I took it like, they want me to abandon my store and my employees? They started to reduce our hours heavily but we started curbside, so less people and traffic overall anyways. Now that Texas opened back up, we are now taking people in again

I fucking hate this because the public is fucking stupid and think this means the pandemic is over. we went from 3 confirmed cases in my town to 10 after this happened. Community spread.

anyways, despite the open state of the store, our hours are as low as ever. AND I had to fire someone AND someone quit (despite me offering to fire them as well)

So....I'm thinking I'm actually gonna have to start using my vacation to give my people more hours >__>

its an awkward and weird situation but its gonna have to happen

I don't..know if this was the actual purpose of the additional vacation but I'm gonna be lazy for a noble cause

I'm about to have lots of time on my hands
