I enjoy the lore of Bloodborne, for instance, and love seeing the boss fights, but I feel like I don't have the skill that I used to - I think I got to my first boss once. Likewise for WoW, actually; I love the lore and rejoiced when Looking For Raid became a thing. I'm effectively guildless and can't take the time investment to wrangle a raid schedule. Jedi: Fallen Order is at least hitting a decent balance for me; I started on the easiest difficulty and ramped it up as I learned the mechanics.
