Even then, Paul's sister in law was a performer too. The idea that the writing staff wouldn't have any close relationships with the acting staff, especially with the overlap, is dumb.

i can definitely see people who were actors but also in positions of creative authority over other actors being generally regarded as in different circles than people who were just actors. if you think that's dumb than you must not have much personal experience with workplace politics.

It doesn't matter which brother. Both have direction, familial contact with a performer/actor on the show. The idea he has no relationship with his sister-in-law is ridiculous.

And further more, it's a fucking Michael Schur show. The Office, Parks and Rec, Brooklyn 99, The Good Place.

You never EVER hear anything bad or drama from his shows. Guest performers on those shows RAVE how everyone treats everyone else and how it's a familial experience. So yeah, four different shows, the same stories from multitudes of people.

So I remember Jenna Fischer was somewhere recently talking about how they had chemistry and John replied trying to nervously brush it off so that gives me pause. Also, Rashidawas talking about never really feeling a part of the show, but that could just be cause the plan was she was going to leave...that said they interact with each other fairly often still, and the entire cast seems to get a long.

this was probably the most relevant thing she's done tbh, it's like an athlete stuck in the past

I was ready to believe John was creeped out by her, mostly because I think she does go a little overboard, but that story went way past the point of believability.

And really, that collage doesn't make me think she's obsessed with Krasinski. It makes me think that she's desperately trying to maintain relevancy because her career hasn't worked out amazingly well after her one big role.

Yeah, I'm more disturbed at the obsession of whoever put this together. That's a lot of research to make into an image. It's not that serious. It's very possible that she just had an overwhelmingly positive experience in the several years of filming the show, appreciates the friendships she made, and tweets or posts about them every so often in the several year span that those (unmarked and marked) tweets/posts show.

I don't know what happened on set because I wasn't there, but it kinda seems like someone is trying to make this a thing. Clearly a narrative is being built.

The tl;dr is that Jenna Fischer was/is supposedly acting like a crazy stalker. Leaving little notes as Pam, acting nasty towards Rashida Jones, constantly cozying up to him, constantly calling and texting him even after he got married, and it caps off with Krasinski receiving phone calls from unknown numbers where the other person is only breathing or sobbing. Apparently there were meetings about this with The Office's staff where people were told to just try and get Fischer talking about something else.

The tl;dr is that it's a crock of shit.

Maybe the details are off and certainly its not coming directly from Krasinski. That said, Jenna Fischer reminds me of how Amy Adams very clearly was crushing on Henry Cavill, her Man of Steel costar. That one interview where Adams couldnt recognize her husbands lips, but didnt have a problem with Henrys made me Lol for a minute.

Zach Braff and Donald Faison are also close friends. Like best man at wedding close. Wouldn't compare the two.

That said, you're not wrong. It's also worth noting that these shows had run times of close to a decade, so there's nothing weird about reminiscing, especially when coupled with the fact that their followers expect things like that.
