I just have to complain here for a sec. I know its dumb and not fair to them, but I gotta vent.
They move to the USA for work. They get screwed by health insurance companies and the healthcare system in general, then constantly moan about it. Like, dawg, you knew it was going to be like that when you went over. Its not a secret. Not that that means they deserve it or the healthcare over there cant be better, but I cant believe their shocked pikachu face every time. of course there are much more opportunities over there if you work in the entertainment industry. I know its not as simple as just dont go over there, but gawd. Im ready for people to call me a jerk now. ... Copied to Clipboard!

That's why you do it the smart way.... keep your dual citizenship(I'm assuming he's Canadian for a moment), and travel to Canada when you want medical stuff done. I know that it didn't cost me an arm and a leg when I went on holidays to the states. Still cost me money, just not as much.
Though States has one advantage over Canada and that's the wait times. Sure they exist, but not nearly the 8-9 hours to get seen for anything not urgent. ... Copied to Clipboard!
